From start to finish. Everything you need.
For your convenience, meetings will be conducted via video conference or phone. The final signing meeting will be in-person and conducted with appropriate COVID-19 safety precautions.
how it works
The estate planning process is pretty simple:
After our initial free consultation, we will meet for an hour by video conference so I can understand your estate planning goals and get detailed information to create your customized plan.
Afterward, I will draft your estate plan documents and forward it to you to review. We will meet again for an hour by video conference so I can walk you through the legalese and make any revisions you would like.
Lastly, I will meet with you to sign and notarize your legal documents and voila! Your estate plan is created.
pricing and fees
Standard estate plans for a married couple are $2800. For individuals, $2200.
Half the fee is due at the beginning of our engagement and the other half at the end of the process when we sign the documents.
I charge only a flat fee for the entire plan so you can freely ask questions without worrying about an hourly rate. I firmly believe estate planning works best only when you fully understand how your plan works.
additional services, no additional fees
I am licensed by the California Secretary of State as a notary public so my estate plan services also includes free notarization on all legal documents.
I will also transfer your primary residence into your Trust for no additional fee. For additional properties, I charge a nominal fee in addition to the recording fee required by the county.
